Move2Earn is the latest craze in the crypto world, ever since STEPN started to blow up.
If you’ve missed the boat, fear not! There are other upcoming projects in the Move2Earn space, and here we take a look at some of the more promising ones:

#1 Dotmoovs (ERC20 / BEP20)
Dotmoovs is a sports app that allows you to compete with people from all over the world in different sports.
Currently, you are able to compete with other users by dancing or showing off your skills in freestyle football.
Dotmoovs uses an AI algorithm to track your movements to score your actions, and the winner will receive a certain amount of xMOOV tokens.
You are given the opportunity to cash out your xMOOV token to the MOOV token, which can then be traded to other cryptocurrencies like USDT.

#2 Genopets (SOL)
Genopets is a Move2Earn game that combines elements similar to Pokemon Go with cryptocurrencies.
You will be breeding and training a Genopet, which exists as an NFT.
By walking, you will start to gain XP points for your Genopet. You can nurture this pet and eventually sell it on the NFT marketplace.
While Genopets is considered to be Free-To-Play, you will need to invest in a Habitat to start earning $KI, which is the utility token.
However, these Habitats are rather costly!
Similar to STEPN, Genopets has 2 different cryptocurrencies: GENE and KI.
The game is still currently in beta, and the team has recently completed Phase 1A of game development.
No official release date has been announced yet, so you may want to keep an eye out for this project.
#3 DOSE (ERC20)
OliveX is a company that aims to build a fitness metaverse via a series of apps including Dustland Runner and other upcoming projects.
By using any of OliveX’s apps, you are able to earn DOSE tokens (ERC20) when completing certain tasks, which can be used for:
- Unlocking items
- Purchasing NFTs
- Participating in special game modes
This allows you to use the same token across multiple games!

#4 STEP App / FITFI (AVAX)
Sounding rather similar to STEPN, Step App has a similar concept of purchasing SNEAKS (similar to Sneakers on STEPN) and earning KCAL tokens in the process.
Step App aims to integrate the metaverse into this game, where your character will grow and evolve as you fulfil fitness quests.
Moreover, you are also able to compete with other players to earn tokens!
Step App has 2 tokens: FITFI (governance) and KCAL (utility), and they aim to launch their Mainnet sometime in Q3.

#5 Calo Run (BEP20)
Calo Run has a similar in-game system to STEPN and Step App, where you will need to have a sneaker to earn FIT tokens.
