Krystal DeFi has now expanded our DeFi ecosystem to the Fantom and Cronos chains to bring you the best in DeFi services.
As a start, Krystal will support token swaps on both Fantom and Cronos. Via SmartSwap, our Smart Liquidity Aggregator that sources liquidity from the top DEXes of each chain, users will be able to get the best rates for all their token swaps.

What is Fantom?
Fantom is a highly scalable, Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG)-based smart contract platform for decentralized applications (Dapps). Fantom aims to solve the scalability issues of existing public distributed ledger technologies.
Fantom has been rapidly gaining traction known for its lightning-fast transactions and super low transaction fees.
The native currency for the Fantom network is FTM. You will need FTM to process all transactions on the Fantom chain.

What is Cronos?
The Cronos chain is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible chain that is more scalable compared to the Ethereum network. It allows developers to port decentralised applications (Dapps) from Ethereum and other EVM-compatible chains directly to Cronos.
This allows you to harness the power of decentralised finance (DeFi) on a cheaper and faster network.
Furthermore, it is compatible with the Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol, which improves Cronos’ interoperability.
The native currency for the Cronos network is CRO. You will need CRO to process all transactions on the Cronos chain.

To start, connect your existing (non-custodial) wallet
Krystal is available to use on Desktop, Android and iOS.
If you have an existing wallet, you can import it on Krystal. Upon importing your wallet, any tokens and NFTs in your wallet will be displayed on the Summary screen.
Some wallets like Metamask require you to add both the Fantom and Cronos networks manually to your wallet.
I don’t have a wallet. Can I create a wallet on Krystal?
Don’t have a wallet? Fret not! Follow these steps to create and send assets to your Krystal Wallet.
With the launch of the Cronos and Fantom chains on Krystal, you are now able to receive digital assets on all 6 of our supported chains (Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Cronos and Fantom) in your Krystal Wallet.
You can skip this step if you already have a wallet. Don’t forget to keep your seed phrase safe!
Step 1: Download the Krystal Mobile App
Go ahead and download the Krystal Mobile App on iOS or Android.
The Krystal Wallet is non-custodial, so you are in sole control of your funds and private keys.
Step 2: Create a Wallet
Select ‘Create a new wallet’ and follow the steps to complete your setup.
Step 3: Select Preferred Blockchain
In this step, you can select either Cronos or Fantom.
Step 4: Obtain the deposit address to send your assets.
Once you have selected either blockchain, you can go to ‘Receive’.
This will show you the address that you’ll need to send your assets to.
